To commemorate their 10th Anniversary Celebrations, our Johor Bahru Alzheimer’s Disease Support Association (JOBADA) is having a FUNDRAISING DINNER on:
Date : SATURDAY, 15 SEPTEMBER 2012
Time : 8.00pm
The above occasion will be graced by the Sultanah of Johor, DYMM Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Al-Marhum Sultan Idris.
The Johor Bahru Alzheimer’s Disease Support Association (JOBADA), formed in 2001, operates an Activity Centre for people with Dementia (AZ Friends) on Mondays to Fridays from 9:00am to 4:00pm, providing transport and 3 meals at very minimal rates, with the support of 3 Full Time Staff, Committee Members and Volunteers.
With the greater public awareness and increase of AZ Friends at the Activity Centre, the Objective of the Charity Dinner is:
(1) To have a spacious house as present double storey house, the upper storey is not accessible to their elderly AZ friends (Address: No. 43, Jalan Petri, Kampung Tarom, 80100 Johor Bahru, Johor Darul Takzim at Tel : 607 - 222 4016).
(2) To buy a 12-Seater Van for the Safety and Comfort of the AZ Friends. The old van is more than 12 years old.
(3) To continue with the management of their centre, maintenance of staff and utilities.
(4) To continue with their educational programme for staff caregivers, volunteers and the public.
